Such a wonderful experience! The staff was warm, friendly, and reassuring. They made us feel like we were regular customers on our first visit. The restaurant was clean and bright. Food was delicious (even my mother in law who was expecting allergy-friendly food to be "weird" was impressed), house made beverages tasted fresh. Will definitely plan a return visit!

This place is amazing. Growing up with severe allergies to 7 of the top 8 as well as several items outside the top 8 this place is a true blessing. To actually be able to eat most of the things on the menu (compared to 1% with stipulations at most restaurants) is amazing. The staff and owners are kind and great people who are passionate about what they do. This place means so much more to me than I can express through words. My only complaint is that I can’t rate them 100 out of 5 stars. P.S. Best cupcake I’ve ever had

My family and I just had lunch today at Intentional Foods in Mesa and we loved it! If we could give this place 6 stars, we would! Owners Lisa and Chef Ned are a dynamic duo and this allergy friendly and safe restaurant is a one in a million. Great tasting, fresh food for everyone, plus wonderful hospitality by the owners. They made sure all the ingredients were safe for us and that is not an easy task. Amazing, amazing, amazing. They also have some grocery items and sweet treats that are free of the top 8 allergens and many new brands I hadn't seen before. Thank you for being great people and for making the most healthy and delicious food in town.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff made me feel at ease ordering directly off the menu even with a tree nut allergy. The owners are refreshingly passionate about what they serve, from the main dishes right down to the refreshments. Would highly recommend even if you don't suffer from one of the major food allergies.

Dining at Intentional Foods is always an amazing experience. Ned and Lisa make you feel so at home and take food allergies seriously, so those of us with celiac disease (and other life-threatening food allergies) can finally feel understood and safe while eating out! The Mediterranean bowl with turmeric chicken, and the chicken salad sandwich are my go-to. If I could put their lemon-garlic aioli on everything I ever eat, I would. The chocolate donuts are delicious and decadent. I always leave Intentional Foods feeling loved and nourished!
